“The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated”. -Ghandi.
“Dogs are people, too, Haley”! -Joanne, Stick It (2006)
“My body will not be a tomb for other creatures”. -Leonardo de Vinci
A few favorite quotes we live by. What is your impact on this earth? Do you have moral progress? Dogs, cows, fish, birds alike, according to Joanne are people, too! Would you eat people? Do you? That is a serious moral issue that needs to be addressed. And why is it more appalling to eat the decomposing flesh of a human being rather than veal, the decomposing flesh of baby cow (usually less than 3 months old), just because we are human? How does being human put us on top of the food chain? If we were stuck in the wild without technology as weapons we would succumb to creatures high and low. For their teeth are sharper, they run faster, and their adaptability is more than we could master. Other creatures would be our tomb. And how is this natural? Ethics is behind our decision. Health as well. We choose to live as an evolved human, unlike our cavemen predecessors; we choose life and veganism. We choose preservation of species, non-GMO, food not pumped with hormones, health, and a dissolvable footprint. We choose green. We choose to make it Thyme for Tofu.
