Liebster Award

liebster-award

We were so kindly nominated for the Liebster award by the talented blogger, Bekah! Here is her link check out her stuff, http://aveganwithaplan.com !! So thankful for her nomination and acknowledgement of our new blog. She is a vegan comfort foodess. As in you should try out her simple yet comforting, delectable recipes of all types of cuisines. She is a nutritionist and knows her stuff and how to make it taste good. If you are not familiar with what this award implies here is some background on how it works:

The Liebster award is a sort of chain mail that everyone actually likes and partakes in. Bloggers nominate other bloggers and get the WORD out on awesome emerging sites. Bloggers nominate their favorite blog sites, ask questions about fellow bloggers, and learn new tips along the way. Oh, and we get awarded! Pretty cool.

The rules:

  • Post the award logo on your blog
  • Link back to the person who nominated you
  • Answer the questions set for you
  • Nominate 10 other bloggers and let them know they’ve been nominated
  • Create 10 questions for your nominees

Answers to the questions we were asked:

  1. What is your favorite kitchen tool?
Our favorite would be the spoon. Any size, any style because the spoon is one of the simplest kitchen tools and we like to keep things simple. It is the ultimate taste tester, measurer, and stirrer.
  2. What is your favorite food?
Alright, WE LOVE FOOD. Ask us to choose one type? We are going to go with Mediterranean for Taylor and Thai for Tori.
  3. What kind of camera do you use for blog photos?
    Canon EOS XSi Rebel
  4. What inspired you to start blogging?
It brings us joy to cook for people so we began reading food blogs to find new, exciting ways to share our love of food. Now, we are looking to share our way of cooking with everyone!
  5. Do you have any hobbies?
We are both college students who love to read, and obviously cook! Taylor spends a lot of time playing soccer and runs triathlons while Tori keeps busy with any kind of art project from knitting to drawing to ceramics.
  6. Which do you enjoy more, cooking or baking?
Taylor loves to bake and Tori loves to cook, that is why we make a great pair!
  7. If you could go on vacation anywhere in the world with the goal of trying local cuisine, where would you go?
    The Mediterranean Sea  🙂
  8. How much time do you spend blogging each week?
Between one to two hours updating our blog and about 5 hours checking out feedback or other bloggers pages.
  9. What is your favorite color?
Teal for Taylor and Green for Tori.
  10. Food processor, essential or “nice to have”?
Thought it was “nice to have” until we both became owners. They are definitely essential- life changers!

  2. Thanks for the nomination! This is a great way to search out other bloggers and learn more about them. Also, the recognition makes the hours of baking worth it. Well, besides the eating of the baked goods. P.S. I use tofu as an egg substitute in some of my recipes.
